The Contrarian Truth: Your Home Is a Hazardous Waste Lab
Everyone tells you to sort your trash, recycle your batteries, and drop off your old paint at a collection event. But almost nobody tells you the real danger is the five minutes you spend digging that stuff out of your garage—before you ever load the car. You're not a chemist, but you're handling the same chemicals a chemist would fear. Household hazardous waste (HHW) is not some bureaucratic label; it's a real, physical threat.
